“Lead in the head” by Aurore Peuffier

The contrast between man and nature takes centre stage at the beginning of this movie. This short journey in the head of an offended savage animal is a reflection of humanity and what it means. It’s about interiority and fears that live in every living creature. At the end we all desire just a sign of love or a chance of freedom.

This short movie was created with an animation technique that simulates oil painting, with many layers of colour one on the other creating an interesting pressing movement towards the spectator. The impression is to watch a dense and rich paste, almost tri-dimensional. The mix of coloured material contributes to create a link between every figure and every space; as if everything is made from the same substance.
